Bad Weather
Be prepared for all kinds of weather. Add wind protection to your camper. So far, I have hit the following conditions. The Aliner has kept me dry through all my travels.
May 8, 2015. A half inch of snow at Canyon de Chelly in Arizona.
May 15, 2015 Light snow as I left the Grand Canyon, Arizona.
May 19, 2015. a half inch of freezing rain overnight in Bryce Canyon, Utah.
July 11, 2016 Theodore Roosevelt National Park
The winds were a steady 40 to 50 mph the first day. The grass really did look like waves on the ocean. That night we got a ferocious thunderstorm and it shook my camper again and again. When I got up in the morning, it had moved the camper 3 inches.
